Nature of Donations
Manolayam Health Care Trust is a registered Public Charitable Trust. All payments made through this website are voluntary charitable donations towards our mission of empowering persons with disabilities, women, children, and the elderly across Tamil Nadu.
As a general rule, charitable donations are non-refundable once successfully processed. However, we understand that genuine errors can occur, and we are committed to resolving such cases fairly and promptly.
Non-Refundable Donations
The following donations will not be eligible for a refund:
- Donations made intentionally and successfully processed
- Donations where the donor has already received an 80G certificate
- Donations older than 7 days from the date of transaction
- Donations where the refund request does not include valid transaction details
Erroneous Transactions
If a donation was made by mistake — such as an incorrect amount, an unintended transaction, or a payment made to the wrong organisation — please contact us within 7 days of the transaction date.
To raise an erroneous transaction request, please provide the following details:
- Full name of the donor
- Email address and phone number used during the transaction
- Transaction date and amount
- Transaction reference number or payment screenshot
- Brief description of the error
We will review the request and, if found valid, initiate a refund within 7–10 working days to the original payment method.
Duplicate Payments
In the event of a duplicate payment caused by a technical error — such as double deduction due to a payment gateway glitch or network failure — the excess amount will be refunded after verification.
Please contact us with both transaction reference numbers so we can verify and process the refund promptly. Refunds for duplicate payments will be processed within 7–10 working days.
Failed Transactions
If your payment was deducted from your account but the transaction was not confirmed or the donation was not recorded on our end, please contact us immediately.
In most cases, failed transaction amounts are automatically reversed by the payment gateway within 5–7 working days. If you do not receive the reversal within this period, please reach out to us with your transaction details and we will coordinate with the payment gateway on your behalf.
Refund Process
Here is how a refund request is handled:
Email us at manolayam@yahoo.co.in with your transaction details and reason for the refund request.
We will verify your transaction details with our payment gateway records within 2–3 working days.
If the request is found valid, a refund will be initiated to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed. Bank processing times may add 2–5 additional days.
Cancellation
Once a donation is successfully processed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled. The payment is immediately recorded as a contribution to the Trust's charitable activities.
If you wish to stop a recurring donation (if applicable), please contact us at least 5 working days before the next scheduled payment date.
